What Our Winters Are Made Of

Alternately titled: My Deepest Apologies To The Snow People.

Carrie posted some pictures today of what her winters are made of, and asked us what our winters are like. While we did have twelve straight mornings of below freezing temperatures, a rarity in Florida, today was gorgeous.

When I got in the car to go pick my girls up from school today, the temperature gauge in my car was at 82 degrees! The forecast for Thursday, which, by the way, is my Little Man's 2nd birthday? Low of 33, high of 53. Such is life in Florida.

So, what does our winter look like? Well today, it looked like this:

You stink. We're still buried in snow here and expecting some more overnight into tomorrow. Can I come live with you? LOL!

(ps: Very lovely shots! You just get better and better with each post!)

My college spring break always fell around this time (Early, I know) but 3 of my breaks were spent on Habitat For Humanity sites in either Homestead or near New Orleans - Never did we see blossoms like these. These are BEAUTIFUL pics! My fav is the last one - your patio table right?

Ahhh you suck!! What with the warm weather and all!!! Thanks for your comment on my blog... to say that I was riled up was putting it mildly!! I was pretty hostile, and had I typed my response when I wanted to, it would have been FAR worse!!!

Thanks for the encouragement!!
