We will always remember 9/11/01.
Ashlyn was at pre-school when I realized what was happening.
Ella was three months old, and I held her most of the day while I wondered what sort of world she would grow up in.
A friend came over, and we watched the news coverage together all day as we cried.
I didn't feel any sort of peace until I had all my little family together.

Thanks for the reminder...I admit I haven't spent a lot of time remembering today bc of busy-ness. But I'll never forget that day and the fear and uncertainty, the tears and prayers, the horror and sadness.
