If you give a mom a muffin, she'll want a cup of coffee to go with it. She'll pour herself some.
Then she'll remember she was in the middle of doing laundry. When she puts the laundry in the dryer, she'll realize the thing on the door that tells the dryer the door is closed, isn't working. She'll try to tape it down with masking tape to make it think the door is closed. She'll realize that isn't going to work.
She'll start looking for the Phillips head screwdriver so she can remove the dryer door. Her 12 year old will call her crazy.
She'll wake up her husband to ask where the screwdriver is. He'll try to find it and will also go check the dryer door, doing the same things the mom did.
She'll realize she has to leave to take the snarky 12 year old to school.
She'll return to find the husband and the 20 month old snuggled in the bed. The husband will tell her how she can rig the dryer door to work. She'll wonder why he didn't just do it himself.
She'll want to go take a shower. She'll realize all the towels are either in the dryer that won't work or in the washer waiting to go into the dryer that won't work.
She'll get the 20 month old out of the bed with his daddy and take him downstairs for some breakfast. While making his breakfast, she'll see her now cold coffee. She'll stick it in the microwave. And chances are, if she gets to drink the coffee, someone will have eaten the muffin that went with it.

Susan, Loved this... It is so True. Like your new button. I have one if you would like to add it. Yours has not worked for me? Good to hear from you... Have a great day. Blessings, Audrey
Very Funny!! Don't you wish the actual frustrating event was as funny as your story about it.
Perfectly penned. How many times have I found my coffee mug in the microwave where I warmed it up from 4 hours before?!?!
